Our family had a wonderful time at Mellissa's place for the 4 days of Easter. She graciously offered us an early check-in to make the most of the holidays. The accommodation has multiple living spaces, and the kitchen is well-stocked with utensils and condiments. We were lucky to have warm weather and enjoyed the pool every day. My nephew loved collecting the chicken eggs and helped feed the horses each day. We left an item behind, and Mellissa expressed post it to us. Thank you Mellissa!!

A beautifully relaxing house in country Victoria. Just what we needed before the craziness of the school year begins again. The homely touches like the fresh bread and pool toys were lovely and made us feel very welcome.

Such a great home! We had 3 little ones with us and each bedroom could easily fit a portacot. Plenty of space in the living areas and kitchen. The outdoor space was also amazing with heaps of flat grass, covered patio as well as the beautiful horses and chickens which the kids loved. The pool was the highlight of the trip. Overall amazing! We loved it!

We loved our tylden stay. The pool is magnificent. Heated enough just to take the cold shock away, whilst remaining refreshing. I particularly appreciated taking our puppy and being able to have him on the couch with us. We visited fabulous restaurants in Kyneton, Trentham and Woodend. As we’d had some rain we revisited Trentham falls which was pumping. Mellissa left a delicious sour dough loaf, plenty of fresh eggs and the most divine bacon. There is a Kardashian-level pantry which was much appreciated as we took our Christmas lunch leftovers and were able to elevate them to the next gourmet level. I doubt I’ll ever see another airbnb pantry with the level of organisation as Mellissa’s. There was one bathroom and toilet available to us, shared between four guests. The Master wing is understandably closed off. There is very little to see and do in Tylden itself but the surrounding villages should appeal.

What a lovely find! My family loved staying here, the house was in extremely clean, we made use of the pool, and loved the sour dough bread and basics on offer. We felt right at home, this place has everything you could ask for. We loved visiting the horses and the chickens. Melissa took the time out to teach my kids about grooming the horses. The kids also liked collecting eggs. We brought along our puppy and visited Forest Glades gardens, Hanging Rock (note dogs cannot climb the rock) but are welcome in the surroundings. I recommend visiting the local pub (Pig and Whistle Hotel) which is a 6 min drive from the house. Thank you Melissa for your hospitality, we will be recommending your place to family and friends.
