The lake house was a perfect location for my family. We were in the area for a 6 Flags Weekend. Barb recommended I call AAA to see about discounts and she was right I saved a ton! Lake house was gorgeous and felt very private. We would definitely stay at this property again

Portable Ac means floor units with hose through open window to outside. Duct tape. Also means windows are not tight and rain and mosquitoes can come in. 92 degrees upstairs. Hot air coming down from attic trap door that was not covering the openings. Had to use blanket to seal trap door. It was only 90 degrees outside but these portable units suck in outside air as fast as they put hot air outside. They ran non stop. Fans all night at bed side in the one room with out Ac. O Also paid 150. Dollars for sheets, towels and wash clothes for 8 adults for 3 days and they supplied 8 towels and one wash cloth total. We bought more at DG since we wanted to shower every day. Nice location. Beautiful lake front with steps going down to lake.

Nice spot for a weekend getaway, we really enjoyed the lake & the fire pit had a beautiful view at night!

My husband, two young boys, and my best friend stayed at Barb's Lakehouse for two nights. The house was perfect for what we needed! Plenty of space, great views, access to the water and bunk beds for the boys! Even though the area is pretty built up, the house itself felt very private...especially relaxing on the back deck. The house was easy to find, and to enter. Barb was extremely responsive...usually within an hour or so. Before booking, I did see some negative reviews regarding the parking, walk to the home, and no linens/towels provided. None of these points were a surprise, and we planned accordingly and had no issues. There is no parking right next to the house and it is a short, but on the steep side, walk to the home. My boys thought this was a novelty and spent much time running up and down to the car! That being said...I would not recommend for guests who have mobility issues or trouble walking. Bottom line...we had a great visit and definitely recommend!

Perfect for our moms’ weekend away! Barb was helpful and responsive. The hill was a climb so be ready, but it was doable. We will definitely be back!
