What a wonderful retreat! We were blown away by every aspect of this beautiful mid-century modern A-frame home. All the little retro details and modern conveniences that Emily and Derek have carefully added made it feel very comfortable. As much as we enjoyed the spacious interior, we also took advantage of the generous deck overlooking the lake, the hammocks, and the kayaks. It is the perfect spot to enjoy watching wildlife, to relax and to recharge. We certainly look forward to returning to Hart Haven.

We had the best time at Hart Haven. Derek and Emily have created a beautiful, peaceful space. The A-frame has such a retro vibe but with all of the modern amenities you need. We particularly enjoyed the direct access to the lake (which was also very peaceful) and the beautiful deck to enjoy a cup of coffee. From the recommendations to the little touches, Derek and Emily have clearly put a lot of thought into making their guests feel comfortable and we will definitely return!

A fun blend of rustic and modern, Hart Haven hosts a simple and slow getaway with much to do right on the property-kayak, tight rope, bocce ball, read in a hammock, make s’mores.
