Melissa was friendly and quick to respond with any questions. I bought a plain Jane coffee pot to use there just to have a bigger pot. One morning I slept in a bit so I rushed out and realized after getting on the train I had forgotten to turn off the pot and didn't know for certain if it had auto shutoff. I nervously texted Melissa around 5am to let her know and ask if she would take care of it. She didn't bat an eye about it and texted me back as soon as she saw the message. A well earned title of super host!

This place is exactly as described. It was nice to enjoy the outside area and see the deer out and about in the mornings. The bed was cozy but the room did get a bit warm even with the windows open. It was a little dusty and could have used a deeper clean. There was also a bit of a smell of cat pee (I'm not sure if that's exactly what it was though) mostly in the hall area to the bathroom. Keeping those doors closed helped. There's also a dehumidifier and the outdoor ac unit that make quite a bit of noise at night. The kitchen had everything I needed and I'm glad there was a blender for some morning smoothies.

Great place to stay if you’re in the area, with plenty of space to work in if working remotely. Also has a nice, quiet, and private backyard. Would definitely recommend staying here!

What I liked about this place is that even though it is a basement apartment, it has big windows that look out onto a large back yard that is totally private. It is very quiet and easy to get to.

The place was great. If there was a negative it was the walk down the side if the house which would be slippery when wet. But the place it self was great.
