A very comfortable cottage that was warm and very clean. I would have to mirror other comments re a shower facility in main bathroom, we had to wait till our friends were up so we could use the on-suite shower. The top bunk is not child safe, no barrier to stop someone rolling over so would not recommend anyone sleep in that. The kettle leaks every time you pour too. - easy fix with new kettle. The place was immaculate, warm and extremely quiet.

The cottage has easy parking, great views and Liz left lots of really thoughtful and welcoming touches like homemade wine, an Easter basket plus toys and treats for the dogs. The log fire is always a treat. The only reason it isn't 5 stars is because there is little or no space in bedrooms 2 and 3 for putting away clothes and not having an over bath shower was disappointing and awkward if two couples are sharing the property. An extra armchair in the lounge would have been welcome. The boiler failed whilst we were there but Julie was super responsive in getting it fixed and gave us free logs to make up for the lack of heat and hot water.

Comfortable, warm and welcoming place to stay surrounded by beautiful countryside. Ideally furnished with both families and dogs in mind. The secure garden and adjacent fields were excellent for an immediate dog walk. Lots of villages, towns, and other walks accessible by car. very scenic.

Great stay. A real homecaway from home with everything you might need for longer stays. Clean and well equipped with two large size doubles and a bunk bed room for kids. Really peaceful location surriunded by countryside. A great place to go to relax and unwind or as a base for walking and visiting the surrounding areas.
