Amanda’s cottage is in a very relaxed and beautiful area with lots to see and do
nous avons passé un agréable séjour chez Amanda. tout est très propre. La piscine est un vrai plus. nous avions un peu peur de la cohabitation avec les chiens car nos enfants n'ont pas l'habitude. Mais les chiens sont adorables et nos enfants de 4 et 6 ans étaient en sécurité à leurs côtés. Merci Amanda!
On check in we met Amanda and she walked us through the accommodation. Everything was exactly as advertised and we had a fantastic stay.
We had a wonderful stay in Amanda’s Cottage. The place is so beautiful and peaceful with stunning mountain views that we actually ended up spending three days in a row just relaxing around the pool not even leaving the compound. Great way to wind down after lots of touring around. The area offers lots of nice things to do though, especially for children. We would definitely come back to this place!
Lovely, family-friendly accommodation with a sparkly clean fenced-in pool, 2 spacious bathrooms and bedrooms, friendly dogs, a cute rescue bird as well as hospitable and warm hosts! We felt right at home from day 1. We stayed there for 3 weeks and loved it. The cottage is in walking distance to The Emporium, Farm Village and Cape Point Vineyards. A safe and private area. We'd stay there again in a heartbeat!

I'm Australian born now living in South Africa with my South African Husband and 2 children. We chose this land where Simons Town Guest House is situated because of the awesome whale sightings (in season - July-Oct) we can see from our house. Not to mention the peaceful sound of the waves crashing and exquisite sunrises and moonrises over False Bay.We have travelled to many places internationally and think we understand the comforts and friendly service guests are looking for. Wildlife is our passion which you can see in our Contemporary African Themed Guest House displaying images of our trips throughout Africa. We love seeing our guests leave with a happy heart and full stomach :) (should you choose to add on breakfast) We've now recently acquired a beautiful acre in Noordhoek where we currently reside. The property has a cottage with one end being a self contained 2 bedroom cottage and the other end a studio apartment. It's so nice to get back to nature and listen to the sounds of birds and animals
