Had a fantastic stay at the Devils Lair. The view was spectacular. Bill, the host, was very personable, informative and helpful. Enjoyed the tour of the distillery and it was great to chat to Thomas, from the cellar door. We will definitely stay again.
Fantastic place to stay for a get away from it all break. Beautiful location and Alison, bill and the team extremely welcoming. Will definitely be back next time we are in Tasmania.
When you read the reviews and view the listing, the place sounds really good. Believe me, it exceeds all of that in real life. It is one of the few off grid places I’ve ever seen or stayed in where everything seems to actually work!

We loved our stay at Devils Lair in beautiful and secluded surroundings above the McHenry distillery. We appreciated the pantry staples supplied (oil, salt, pepper, tea, coffee, hot chocolate) as well as the gin samples.
