Robin was a wonderful host. She really thinks about every detail from the fully stocked coffee bar to the nice basket in the room of essentials folks sometimes forget to pack. She was so kind and welcoming. She has a beautiful historic home. When you walk in, it takes you back in time. She has decorated the home with lovely antique furnishings that just make the whole place feel so rich in history and inviting. It's very close to the lake which was wonderful. The property is lovely and shaded with a nice gazebo area for relaxing and a big beautiful magnolia tree. Her breakfast was outstanding with fresh fruit, muffins, and a lovely breakfast casserole. We came to stay for the weekend and left with a new friend. We can't forget to mention Romeo the house mascot, he made the stay even better! Thanks Robin for making our stay so wonderful!

This historic home was a picturesque stay. The room was very comfortable, the house was clean, and the food was delicious. Common areas were available for use as well which provided a nice place to read and play board/card games. This was a perfect spot for a weekend getaway. The lake is five minutes away and easy to find.

Robin is the perfect host. I was able to be in easy communication when I first was interested in staying at Magnolia Hill. She worked around my time frame for checking, breakfast, everything. The house is beautifully kept. Robin has created a peaceful, beautiful, friendly atmosphere. She has thought of every detail to make staying there feel like a special occasion! The place is immaculately clean, the atmosphere is lovely and comfortable. The history of the house and the area is fascinating and Robin is the perfect person to tell you all about it. All of that and the rate was quite reasonable even over the Fourth of July weekend. If I am ever back in that area I would definitely stay there again.
