NEW OUT DOOR HOT SHOWER ….. The Bear Necessities cabin is part of the Great 88 cabin getaways. Nestled on 88 acres of natural woodlands , trails and creeks. Getaway from it all when you stay under the stars in this off grid cabin located on a sunset hill at the edge of the woods, It’s the perfect place to escape, unplug & unwind. This insulated cabin is cosy and romantic with a real wood stove capable of taking the chill off on a fall evening or keeping you toasty on a cold winters night. This cabin is a 15 min hike in only from the parking area .The one room cabin is equipped with all the necessities required to escape . The two queen size custom built bunks beds both have there own viewing window that makes you feel like your sleeping outdoors and allows you to watch wildlife and the sunrise from the comfort of your bed. A large real wood stove with glass window allows you to watch the flicker of the fire while keeping you cosy warm. Buffet and hutch , table with 4 chairs , covers timber framed front porch

Todd was a great host, very friendly and informative. The place was impeccable and beautiful. I enjoyed my stay and I would get back there a couple of times more. Highly recommended for a private and romantic stay

Quel belle trouvaille ! Bien situé, emplacement intime, mais facile d’accès, tout est bien organisé et balisé. L’endroit est TRÈS propre, beaucoup de services pour un petit refuge dans le bois (lumières, électricité, prises USB). Nous avons adoré et nos chiens aussi, ils se sont senti très bien accueillis 🥰

Todd's cabin was the perfect little getaway. The woods are gorgeous, the cabin is quiet and warmed up really well with the wood stove even in the cold weather. Having the wagons to wheel your stuff and the trail marked added a fun adventure element to the stay.

Located 15 mins north of the 401 at Belleville a peaceful and quiet rural area the cabin is a walk-in hike in only , located about 15 min walk from the private parking area a self check in. As you follow the marked trail ( bear 🐾. Paws) tru the woods over the creek to the the bear 🐻 cabin a lock box with key is at the door ( combo provide prior to check in )
The great 88 cabin getaways has a private free parking area for guest, located just off the main driveway , look for the parking signs and the great 88 sign. This is where you park and hike into your cabin ... follow the bear paws Along the trail to the bear Necessities cabin approximately a 15 min hike, a wagon or a toboggan is provided to assist you with your gear.
