We loved the original 1950s features of this house. And the huge amount of space. We felt like we were stepped back in time and that was fun.

Marina and the Riverfront Motel team were some of the most accommodating, welcoming, lovely hosts/staff. From beginning to end, they were most helpful and nothing was too difficult for them or for us. The villa itself was beautiful art Deco style and was clean and tidy and well laid out. The space was beautiful and perfect for our needs. The carpet was a little tired and had some small marks but overall, the property was in excellent condition. it would have been nice to have had a vacuum in the room but all other amenities were sufficient. Our group is now looking at booking the venue again in future. couldn't fault anything. thanks again!

The place was clean, tidy, spacious & self-contained. Kitchen was great. It's next to a river where ducks, geese & seagulls visit (& poo) during daytime. It's also a great for stargazing as it was completely dark at night & galaxies were clearly visible. However you'd definitely need a flashlight at night if you walk out, hence we felt a bit unsafe. It was until we arrived we realized that the place was actually part of the Riverfront Motels and Villas (search it!). If we knew that it's a motel, we might not have booked the place! 2 of the bedside lamps were not properly installed. Hot water ran out after 4-5 of us (out of 7) took the shower. Wi-Fi was very weak and only living room had signal. No ventilation in the toilet towards the end of the corridor. Reception closes at 8pm and no one answered the security patrol hotline. Marina was reachable over Airbnb app and did offer 2 alternative flats (which we explored in the dark & rejected) & refunded 1 night. Maintenance was sub-par.
