A perfect place to stay. Comfortable and beautiful. Everything we needed and more. A sociable space and a good nights sleep. Interesting village. Good shop, pub and a cafe woth nice food at the sawmills. Went to a classical concert in the Church and a show at Taunton. Brewhouse. Fun charity shops in Wiveliscombe and Wellington. Wonderful local walks. Saw a skylark. We had such a lovely time and all have a happy glowing memory. Thank you for sharing your home.

This house is a delightful place to stay. Private and quiet with amenities nearby. A pub and shop within walking distance and small village just a few minutes away. Easy drive into Taunton. Everything you need is in the house, the bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. Above all the hosts were brilliant, helpful and easy to communicate with. I cannot recommend this property highly enough, we will certainly be recommending to friends and family. Thank you Jane.

Hi, I am a playwright and my husband is a musician. We have been coming to Somerset to visit friends for years, but ended up here during the first lockdown (in 2020) and truly fell in love with the place so bought our lovely cottage here. We are passionate about Somerset, it's magical walks and peaceful calm and healing quality, John (my husband) is slightly obsessed with the local history of the the area (find his homemade guidebook at the house) and I (aside from being obsessed with plays) have become a (very amateur) herbalist, and am fascinated by the local plant life and natural herbs around the area (local abundant wild garlic and nettles delicious!). We have made our cottage warm, welcoming and full of character and art, colour and books. We have tried to make it a place that is a pleasure to be in all year round, for rainy log fire afternoons and sunny feasts in our birdsong filled garden - and we hope you feel the same when you stay there.
