The house was very nice, and the hot tub was amazing! Our kids loved playing at Marquette park and the sunset at the beach was amazing with the Chicago skyline! The smart home features were a plus, but it’s not the best neighborhood.
Getting there was simple Getting in was simple the door code worked great When we first walked in it had a very very strong smell of cleaning solution.Which is normally great this was a VERY STRONG SMELL. The couches and chairs had dust under them. Animal hair on the rug LIKE it wasnt vacuumed.Upon looking around the house the rooms are ok sized but set up odd so if an infant that still needs to sleep next to the bed is hard to accommodate. The bathroom is very tiny. The fence is held up by 2x4s and not sturdy. They have noise detecting devices in the house to make sure your not to loud. Cameras on all areas of the house that they say are not checked often but my kids were in the hot tub and it was 47 out the kids got out i was getting them situated and i got a message to cover the hot tub if not in use. It had been minutes since they got out. So they are checked often. Didnt feel like much privacy with the position of the backyard cameras. If you have 2 or more cars dont stay here.

My salon staff and I stayed while we were in town for a class. We enjoyed the smart tv’s and hot tub a lot. Beautiful home.

Hi, I'm Hilary. I'm the owner of Miller Beach Vacation Rentals, 40 minutes from Chicago. Check out our many 5-star reviews! My husband and I discovered Miller Beach, a lovely, hidden gem in 2003 and fell in love with it immediately. We currently reside in town with our young daughter and Vizsla dog. We have been in the memory-making business since 2007 and are directly involved in the day-to-day operations to ensure each guest has the best possible Five Star experience. We love to travel the world and stay in vacation rentals when possible. We appreciate the convenience, privacy, and exploration of other cultures by truly living like a local. We observe and take extensive notes on what other leading vacation rentals offer and how these ideas and strategies can be implemented in our properties. Some of our favorite places are the Algarve region of Southern Portugal, the Dutch side of St. Maarten, the Provence region of France, and Asheville, NC.
