Easy to find and super easy check in. The neighborhood felt safe. There were some dust bunnies/balls of hair on the floor. Ants in the kitchen all over the provided snacks. Fridge smelled terrible like old seafood. The AC did not work great - especially in the second bedroom. The fan also made a loud clicking sound so it got pretty warm in there. The main bedroom bed/bedding was fine but the second bedroom was quite uncomfortable. Kitchen was nicely equipped and overall space looked like photos on listing.

Overall, it was a decent stay. The home has recently had a remodel, and the location is 15 minutes from the beach. But that’s all that’s really going for it. One major issue we had was the house seems to have mold. A couple members of my party have an allergy to mold, and you could instantly tell the second they stepped in the doorway. They were coughing, sneezing, and had a runny nose. Furthermore, I know that Florida has insects, but we found a bit too many to be comfortable. Cockroaches, lizards, and ants were all found in the house. The bathroom is also incredibly small so just be aware of that. The backyard was very unkept, and there was a for sale sign in the yard during our stay. I think the pictures do a good job of highlighting the remodel, but don’t obviously mention these issues. So just be aware of that if you decide to stay here.

We very much enjoyed our two week stay in Englewood at the bowtie suites. Everything is just as described, sparkling clean, and modern. Comfortable beds, all necessary beach stuff, and walking distance to Walgreens pharmacy and Publix. Quiet neighborhood, yet very close to Main Road that takes you to area beaches. No screened in lanai, but a nice shaded seating area out the back door, looking into a very private backyard. Stan and Veronica were very responsive to the few questions that we had during our stay. Highly recommend this residential neighborhood with easy access to restaurants, beaches, etc.

A perfect spot, close to downtown Englewood and Manasota Key beach. Spotless and had everything we needed for our toddler to be comfortable as well. Thanks so much!
