The place was perfect for what we needed - plenty of space for my wife and I and our pup to have a comfy, quiet and private "home away from home", be able to stretch out, cook our own meals, etc., for the week we were in RI. The pet-friendliness aspect was crucial - the backyard where the pool is is completely fenced in, and Steve was fine with us letting our dog out to run around and play with their dog, Moon. We were there in the winter, so did not get to use the pool, but I imagine in the summer it must be a fantastic extra amenity. Having the park only 1/2 block away was amazing, we took full advantage and went for several walks around the lake. I have to add, too, that Steve absolutely went above and beyond in terms of hospitality and generosity, making sure our stay was stress and hassle free and worked the way we needed it to work. He truly is a "superhost"!
Our second stay at the carriage house. My husband and I have stayed at a few in the area and the carriage house is by far my favorite! Steve is absolutely amazing and the space has everything you would need for an enjoyable comfortable stay!
An absolute gem! Steve is a super attentive host, assuring we felt at home right away with an amazing welcoming package and fresh flowers. My husband and I had a long stay for work and the carriage house had everything we needed. I wanted to also mention that the bed is so comfortable and the large shower was soothing after a long days work. The vibe is calming and relaxing. Would highly recommended!
The Carriage House was an architectural gem. Great “BoHo” decor and 70’s feel. Had everything we needed for a three night stay. Kitchen was well stocked and bed was comfy. We binged a great series on the big screen with comfy seating. Beautiful City Park within walking at the end of the street. The neighborhood was an Old Grande New England Cottage feel lined with beautiful houses and manicured lawns. The shared back yard was lovely but it was crisp cool nights so we didn’t partake. We would definitely recommend and return. Thank you Steve.
Beautiful carriage home in an ideal location! The home is exactly as described and depicted in the pictures. So close to the Roger Williams park and only about 10 minutes from downtown Providence- tons of stuff to do nearby! Would highly recommend.
