The communication and location was fine but the bathroom and toilet are not clean at all. We couldn’t even use the bathroom during our stay. Please improve on cleanliness

We stayed over after Kruger, looking for some relaxed time. The place is beautiful and calm. Be mindful that you are sharing your surroundings with other animals as well, so do not leave any food out. For us, it was an addition to our stay to be so close to nature. The people working at the lodge were extremely friendly and helpful. Would recommend!

Kingfisher Cottage is an awesome spot for a quiet breakaway. We have stayed here 3 times and every time the stay becomes better. The cottage is beautiful, clean and modern. A lovely quiet spot on the Olifants river with no neighbours nearby. the rooms are luxurious with crisp white linen. The kitchen is well equipped and a great braai are and fire pit outside. The outdoor living area is extremely comfortable and ideal for relaxing or even an afternoon nap. The addition of a very secluded splash pool near the main lodge added to the enjoyment of the weekend. All round a fantastic little spot in the bush. Will be back many more times.

Great stay, the accommodation is as is on Airbnb, the peace and tranquillity of the accommodation is also great. You get to experience the sounds of nature with also the river flowing just in front of the accommodation. It’s quite a distance from Hoedspruit so when you do go to Hoedspruit, make sure you get everything you need. Otherwise I have no regrets and I enjoyed my stay.
