Our family of four had a great stay at Linda’s place over the July long weekend. The cottage is beautiful and located on a quiet lake. The cottage itself is surrounded by tall trees and we loved the screened in porch area. Our kids enjoyed splashing in the water (fair warning: it’s a shallow entry straight from grass so I would recommend water shoes if you anticipate spending time in the water). Rosseau was a close drive for supplies and ice cream runs. Linda is a great host — communicative, responsive and clear with her instructions. Thank you!

A perfect family getaway! We were 2 families who stayed at Linda's cottage for a week (4 adults, 4 kids under 4 and 2 dogs). This is a perfect place for kids - enclosed deck, shallow beach, lots of play space, mainly one floor layout and close to town. The cottage is well equipped with anything you need, with various rooms to hang out and relax. Linda was very prompt to respond to any questions and even brought us a replacement coffee maker when the pot was cracked. We went to the Rosseau farmer's market on Friday and it was a treat for the whole family. There are also some cute hiking trails about 20 minutes away. I would definitely stay here again! Our family, which included our 2 daughters, sons in law , 2 grandsons and a dog, enjoyed a lovely week at Linda's cottage in Seguin. Set up on a hill it has a very beautiful view looking through trees and out to the lake. There is a bit of a steep walk either through the woods or down a lane, both of which open out onto a flat grassy area, small sandy lake access and a dock. The bottom the lake is quite shallow with a sandy/silt bottom. This takes a bit of getting used to as the bottom is so soft that once in awhile you step into a hole, and there are lilly pads and lake plants. We actually enjoyed kayaking out to the deep water and swimming from there, although our little boys enjoyed jumping off the dock and playing on the floating pink raft. There was a canoe and a kayak available for our use. The cottage itself is nicely appointed and very comfortable. My only suggestion is that the double bed in one of the main floor bedrooms be replaced with a queen size. I believe that someone else has suggested that the barbecue needs to be replaced, and my husband would concur with that. Both check in and check out were easy and Linda was excellent at communicating all details . The cottage is close to the town of Rosseau where there is a lovely beach and park, and a farmers market on Friday mornings. Our cottage vacation was everything we hoped it would be , even the weather was perfect. Thank you Linda!

A well kept cottage located on a quiet bay of Sucker Lake. The rooms were all well appointed and beds were all comfortable, leaving everyone well rested. The two kayak's added to the fun in the water and an opportunity to explore the lake. The large deck and patio table was perfect for outdoor meals each evening. The kitchen was well stocked with ample dishes, appliances and outdoor BBQ. The spacious layout provided several areas to spread out for those who were looking for quiet time or a place to play a game.
