The Rest Nest is a small, cozy place for someone needing a place for a shower and sleep or an extended stay. There is a full kitchen and laundry as well as all new HVAC, paint, refinished hardwood floors. updated electric & plumbing have also been added. The house is located in a very quiet older neighborhood on a brick street. Ottawa University is a few blocks south of The Rest Nest and it is within blocks of downtown shopping and places to eat, the rail trails & other local attractions. The Rest Nest is quiet and cozy with everything you need for comfort while traveling. This home is decorated with all things that "nest" and their abodes, new and antique! A comfortable, clean and efficient space to accommodate you during your stay here with decor from my favorite past time of attending estate auctions and unique finds. Two bedrooms, large closet, enclosed back porch/reading/laundry area and dedicated work space, wifi, (bonus clothesline in back!) and a relaxing sitting area outside with peaceful fish pond (please, DO NOT FEED THE FISH) are for your exclusive enjoyment. Off and on street parking is available - large driveway can accommodate more than one vehicle. I am always rearranging, changing and adding things to make your stay enjoyable.
