My friends & I spent 2 months here, and it was just what we needed for our desert retreat. The view was beautiful, beds were comfortable, & house looked like the pictures. Despite the awkward layout, the kitchenette worked out well because of the two portable induction cooktops. We were able to bake food in the large toaster oven. The place was very private -- only a 30 minute drive into 29 palms for most groceries & only an hour drive to Palm Springs (& the nearest Costco.) Nearby 'Giant Rock Meeting Room' makes GREAT artisan pizzas & live music! Please note: (1) We had a lot of contact w/ owners b/c they had to weekly replace the propane tank that heated the house & empty the outside garbage; (2) the whole area is dirt roads; (3) we were able to plug in our electric hybrid using an extension cord & outside plug; (4) the wiring is weird--expect a tripped breaker if using 2+ things at once; (5) no Amazon deliveries. Owners are friendly & love their house. We enjoyed our stay.

The place visually matched what was shown on Air BnB site. It just "neat" wasn't cleaned properly. They did offer to clean which was nice, I just went to work so didn't want to have to deal w/ in/out, and had to set up a little gear for work that I don't want strangers to be around. It just didn't work out. The hosts were still accommodating.

Location is great and the house is very spacious. I did enjoy the gift of wine upon arrival. The bedrooms are decorated nicely and the beds were very comfortable. However, I found a rolled up condom in a tissue under the bed when I was cleaning up for my departure. The bathroom also had a faint smell of sewage at times. I contacted Dino to help solve the problem and cleaning supplies were dropped off to help fix. I wasn’t going to be at the house and did not want anyone inside. I used the supplies as directed, however, there was still a smell at times. Dino was helpful during the stay with replying to my concerns. All in all the house was clean and resembled the photos provided.

Home as described. On the surface it was clean. The floor needed a good sweeping and stains on seat cushions, but overall felt clean. It would be helpful if light switches were labeled. Had a hard time finding them & figuring them out. My biggest issue is no oven. The description says that, but that is an issue when cooking. There was a toaster oven, but really difficult to cook. Cute kitchen but a stove/oven would be better. No pans to fit in toaster oven & I didn’t bring foil…bummer! Probably a better place to stay in the warmer months. Overall a nice place, but the oven was a bigger deal than I expected.

Great stay! Beautiful views and all was as described in the listing. Well stocked for cooking and hanging out (no oven but we knew that going in). The only thing missing was a can opener.
