WEST DOWN FARM is an Arts and crafts style 3 story house with 8 bedrooms 6 ensuite nestled in the hillside and approached by a wooded drive, surrounded by its own private gardens with plenty of areas to enjoy a BBQ and relax in your own Jacuzzi, sauna or cook your own pizza in the outdoor oven Situated close to Exmoor and within easy reach of the North Devon coast ideal for exploring on foot or bike Due to Covid and government guidelines we have been asked by Airbnb to say no partiesor events WEST DOWN FARM is the ideal location for families and get togethers we can put packages together for all occasions hen, stag and baby shower gatherings, birthdays anniversaries and Team building groups mid week WEST DOWN FARM is only 30 minutes away from junction 27 of the M5 and makes an ideal base to explore North Devon and Exmoor and is in easy reach of the coast and beaches of Saunton Sands, Putsborough, Croyde, Woolacombe and Westward Ho! For the more adventurous Skern lodge and Rock and Rapid are close by along with the Tarka trail and many scenic walks on Exmoor and the Devon countryside. Or for the quieter days RHS Rosemoor, Knightshayes, Arlington Court, Castle Hill gardens are all within easy reach along with Coombe Martin wildlife park, Exmoor Zoo, Milky way, Big Sheep and Watermouth Castle

Perfect weekend away thank you very much! Everybody loved their stay, we had the best time celebrating 2 anniversaries with all the family. No complaints or faults, only thing we wanted to mention (& it’s not a complaint only an advisory incase you weren’t aware), in the double bedroom on the third floor there was a noise that sounded like a washing machine cycle that was quite loud, it was intermittent but just wanted to make you aware for future guests.
Sally’s place is beautiful and has lots of space for guests. Everything was easy to find. The garden got sunlight all day and was perfect for relaxing and hanging out together. Very impressed, would thoroughly recommend!
Overall great stay, lovely big house and good location. Check out/in times were not the best but were able to change them for a rather large sum. Also paid extra for a second hottub that deflated. Sally was a great host overall and tolerated a noisey stag group well.
We stayed at Sally's place for my boyfriend's 30th and it did not disappoint! The house was beautiful and easily big enough for the 16 of us without feeling crowded. Lots of space, lovely bedrooms with comfortable beds and enough bathrooms for everyone. The amenities were excellent - the hot tub, sauna, pizza oven and BBQ made us all very happy! Driving distance to local beaches and pubs, and close to the North Devon Link Road so extremely easy to get around. Sally was super helpful and friendly, on hand to help with anything and answer any question we had. Would highly recommend and would definitely come back :)
Perfect for a special occasion!! Couldn’t have asked for more.

There is an excellent selection of local pubs many of which have won awards for there fine ales and tradional local food
