Had a great time here for a short stay. We booked close by the Renaissance fair and it was definitely worth the price. We enjoyed our short stay. Thanks again Ashley!! You had every thing we needed.

The cottage was very clean and organized, the air conditioning was great, the fire pit was so so so lovely and Ashley even trimmed the grass around it for us. We also loved the location, as we spent the weekend at the Sterling Renaissance Fair a short drive away. I did think the lake would be more swimmable—take note the average depth of Cross Lake is 18’ so it is a little warm and swampy. I went out past the weeds on a floaty and had a dunk, but swimming from shore isn’t possible unless you’re used to greener lakes. The sulphur water in the cottage is pretty bad. We recommend bringing wet wipes to shower and, if you can, bring a water jug from home for hand washing as the water scent lingers on the skin. The neighbours were also spraying a wild amount of chemicals on their lawn. Maybe that’s a normal American thing, but I was a little concerned! Overall Ashley was amazing and besides the water we had a comfortable relaxing stay and would recommend the family friendly spot!

Beautiful home. Spacious and clean. The views were beautiful. Very peaceful and relaxing. A great place to connect with family and great fishing.
