The Villa was beautiful inside, but it needed some attention. The handle on the microwave was broken. There was only one coffee mug, and two demitasse cups. There was only one potholder. I couldn’t find a toaster. The outdoor kitchen was not usable. It hadn’t been cleaned in awhile, and there was a leaking pipe in the outdoor kitchen and on the side of the house. We were staying in Villa 1, but there was only a sign that said Villa 2. Other than that, the countryside and river were beautiful, and there was a great cafe in Utopia. I bet the area is magnificent during wildflower season! And, let me say again, the interior was beautiful!

This place was a amazing. It had amazing views, with the river and winery in walking distance. We had the pleasure of even swimming with a few fish in the river. The accommodations were very cozy and home like. We wish we could’ve stayed there for so much longer than we did. Stores are a bit of a drive away besides a country store which is a pleasure to stop at during their business hours so be prepared. We enjoyed the adventure of driving where we needed to. Just absolutely loved this place!

A following is a copy of a text I sent to Roberto during our stay to which he never responded.. Good morning Roberto. We're having concerns with the refrigerator. The temperature for the inside is set at 46° which is way above normal, yet all of our groceries are Frozen. The coffee creamer, milk, eggs, and produce- onion, squash, lettuce are like icicles and are ruined. The coffee creamer and milk most likely can be thawed by putting it back in our ice chest but the rest will have to be thrown out. The freezer is also amiss and one half is a block of icy frost. On a much more minor note, the batteries for the tv remote are dead. There isn't a cutting board or corkscrew anywhere in the place (used a plate & had to buy one). The nonstick surface of the largest pan you have is missing a lot which means it's coming off into the food people prepare; dangerous. None of the pots have lids and I had to throw a spatula into the trash because it melted!

Perfect little cabin for the 2 of us. Beautiful view, great location close to Lost Maples and Garner state parks. Very relaxing get away.
