The benefits of the property are that it's in a safe location and the hosts are really communicative. The property is in decent shape and the backyard is great. The pool was always warm and the outside space is a great hangout spot. The size of the home was perfect for our group of 6. The house was generally as expected but it's definitely in need of some TLC. The door handle fell off one of the bedroom doors (the hosts called someone in to fix it fairly quickly though they did not give us a heads up) and the sheets in one of the bedrooms were stained. The master bathroom had ceiling work being done and leaked when it rained. There was also blue tape on the door. There was also a hole in the wall. All and all, we had a good stay but it just wasn't in the condition we expected.

Brigitte & Adi were very easy to work with. The communication was excellent and they quickly responded to two issues that came up while we were there. The house works well for three couples, having 3 bedrooms with adjoining or close bathrooms. The fourth bedroom does not have it's own bathroom but has two queen beds and overlooks the pool. It worked OK for our adult boys -- the only challenge was sharing bathrooms. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans and appliances. We found everything we needed to cook and share a meal together. Being able to park in the garage was a plus. The location is close to Hollywood beach and the Broadwalk where we had dinner at restaurants along the beach a few times. I would not say it is walking distance but it is a very quick drive. Parking was easy to find but expensive. Convenient location to get to Fort Lauderdale Airport. All in all, a good choice for our group.

We had nightmare stay in this house. House has several maintenance issues like drawers falling on your feet, extremely slippery floors in all rooms, bathroom showers that spill water everywhere, cockroaches 🪳and not properly functional door lock. But the worst part is that this house is located in an area with easy flooding streets. We had a situation where rain blocked our access to the house completely while we had to call 911 in an emergency situation leaving us to stay at motel for the night. The host was unhelpful and completely careless about this.
