Designed and built by a furniture-maker, “The Porch House” is the larger of two side-by-side dwellings in a two family arts and crafts style house. Tucked away on a private drive and set back a block away from Bradford St, you'll still only be 1-1/2 blocks from the bay, a 5 min. walk to the gallery district/ 10 min. walk to town center. Up to 4 guests. Pre-approved pets are welcome, Pet fee $20/n/pet. Bookings: May/June 2024 (4n/min) :July 6-Oct 5 2024 SAT-SAT (7 night) rentals ONLY. Relax on your own private porch and enjoy the quiet wooded surroundings in this secluded bungalow haven. From the porch, you will enter the large open-plan 1st floor. The light filled living/dining area is paneled in traditional bead-board, and opens to a generous kitchen with stone counter tops. Two equal size cathedral ceiling bedrooms and both bathrooms are on the 2nd floor. There is a split A/C on first floor and one in each bedroom for cool comfort in the Summer months. Hardwood floors are throughout, except in the tiled bathrooms and kitchen. There is also a private outdoor shower. A Pet fee of $20/night per pet. Please check the Pet fee when booking-only for 1 dog, if bringing more will have to add after you are booked. A signed pet agreement is required. Pet owners are required to clean up after their pets and also to vacuum all pet hair prior to checking out.

The Porch House is very nice and Rachel was responsive although we didn’t have any requests. I’ve stayed at this property several times before. The property owner has changed, there are new appliances and some new furniture but otherwise the house is much as it was the last time we rented it.
The place was perfect. Private but close to everything. The kitchen was very well appointed, the space was beautiful and comfortable. The front porch was perfect after a spending the day on Commercial St. or enjoying the bikes on the trails. Can’t wait to return!

Can’t say enough about our stay at the Porch house. It was close enough to walk into the center of town daily while also just far enough away to feel peaceful and quiet. Steven and Rachel are excellent hosts and would definitely stay here again. Thanks for an amazing time in PTown!
We’ve had a wonderful time staying at this rental over the past two years. The accommodations are very nice; the house is off the street, a quiet retreat in the woods. The owner and rental manager have always been flexible and helpful. The neighbors are quiet, friendly, and also helpful. On this last visit, for example, Rachel, the manager, and one of the neighbors, Jackie, helped me figure out how to get an Amazon package shipped to the house, and Jackie brought it up to the house when she noticed it in the mailbox. We will definitely be back again soon!

The Porch House is located in the East End of Provincetown, a quiet residential neighborhood known for its art galleries and historic homes. We are in a private wooded lot that is a two minute walk to the bay and a ten minute walk to the center of town. Both the East End Market and Angel Foods are easy walks for upscale deli and grocery needs.
Riding a bike is the most convenient way to access the complete town and the National Seashore beaches. Several shops in town rent bikes. There is also public transportation.
