This duplex is very nice! Did not hear neighbors at all. Well constructed. We were 4 people; myself, another adult, and two teenage boys. We were able to spread out nicely between the 3 bedrooms. There are three floors. The living room and kitchen on the ground floor, two bedrooms on the 2nd floor, and one spacious bedroom on the 3rd floor. Very clean, decorated nicely, looks new inside, and clutter free. Conveniently located right off Rt 12 in the village, and a quick 1 mi drive to Cape Hatteras. (The pin on the map is of the property office where you check in first to pick up your key. The house is located a few miles from there. Easy to find.) The grassy front and backyards are large enough to toss a football or play yard games. A hose is provided and handy to wash off any sand or debris from beach time. Finally, if you plan to cook, bring/buy paper towels, tissues, dishwasher/laundry soap, food storage containers, and spices/oil. Plus extra toilet paper for 3+ days.

Enjoyed our stay very much. House was clean and quiet and the beds were very comfortable. Will definitely try to stay here again next time we travel to Buxton.

Beautiful newer townhome right off US12. Quick access to the area. Comfy beds, and lots of towels for each person. We stayed here because kitchen and cooking was important to us as many of the places to eat, close in the winter. We made due for our short trip, but if you are staying longer or cooking for a larger group you are going to want to bring cooking supplies. Kitchen is stocked with basics. There are no serving bowls, or anything to store leftovers. Connors Supermarket is less than half mile down the road and offer a great selection, and Dollar General is in the same area for supplies. Washer and Dryer available - but pay machines bring a roll of quarters $1/$1.50. Breakfast tip: spend at least one morning at Orange Blossom Cafe for an Apple Ugly
