The cottage embraces its original features such as exposed stone walls, however, it is fully up-to-date with a modern kitchen, bathroom and two great bedrooms.&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Tideswell is situated near Buxton and has some really lovely historic buildings, including a remarkable church, also known as the Cathedral of the Peak. Observe the well-dressings in the village and stop in at one of the friendly local pubs for a bite to eat and a pint. With a network of footpaths radiating from the cottage door, you&rsquo;ll be spoilt for choice of which walk to go on first. Head to Monsal Trail and explore the area either by foot or hire a bike and pedal your way around. Enjoy a tranquil walk down to scenic Water-cum-Jolly Dale and simply enjoy the views of the English countryside at it&rsquo;s best.&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Hang up your walking boots and jump in the car for a short journey to all the fantastic holiday attractions nearby, such as Victorian Buxton with its magnificent Crescent, Devonshire Dome and Opera House. Castleton&rsquo;s spooky Blue John caverns or even Peveril Castle. You cannot visit Derbyshire and not spend an afternoon at Chatsworth House or Haddon Hall.
