We love this spot and will definitely be back in the future. The decor was spot on from the black out curtains to the comfortable bed to the record collection. We had an amazing time with our two dogs. We enjoyed the rocking Adirondack chairs and the bar where we had a peaceful breakfast every morning with the sound and view of the river. You can’t go wrong booking this place. The hosts gave excellent recommendations for places on the river for our pups too! You’ll love the variety of beautiful house plants. They sure made us feel at home❤️ The level of detail is impeccable. You don’t design a beautifully curated place overnight, you can see the time and effort that went in to executing this 5 star experience. They thought of everything that you might want/need!
This home exceeded all expectations. The architecture and decor of the home itself was stunning, with thoughtful touches throughout. The kitchen was extremely well equipped for all our cooking needs. Then there’s the outdoor space and surroundings which were absolutely breathtaking. Reading a book, and drinking a cup of coffee on the balcony listening to the river first thing in the morning as the sun came up was so peaceful. Drinking a glass of wine on the back patio as the sun set was the perfect way to end a day. The first day we arrived had rain and some snow, but by the second day the sun had come out and Rod and Carol offered to come by while we were out hiking to remove all the outdoor furniture covers. Their hospitality was exceptional. This is by far the best value Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in, and I hope to make it back one day.
The Kern River house is absolutely gorgeous! Everything was organized and the hosts think of every detail to make the stay convenient! The river lulls you to sleep.
We had a wonderful time! The view of the river and the mountains are incredible and breathtaking. It’s a nice place to relax and unwind. The hosts are nice and friendly. Will be back for sure!
