The short review is this place was great, Julia was a wonderful host, and we will be back in the future! The long review is traveling for work I have found many short terms rentals today to be low input money generators that are not well looked after, and sometimes even dangerous. I generally don't leave reviews because most hosts aren't going to like what I have to say or do anything to improve, but seeing Julia's place reminded of what short term rentals were like before COVID. Her place is clean, well renovated by someone skilled, has plenty of amenities, and decorated like a home; it looks like she may herself use this as a vacation home from time to time, rather than the typical max profit dumps that have come to make me hate short term rentals. Out of the several rentals I have stayed at in this region, this is the only one I would recommend, and is the only place I will look forward to staying at for future jobs in the area. This is what rentals should be, 11 out of 10!

I stayed here after running the Trail of the Coeur d’Alenes E2E (Plummer to Mullan). The place was ultra-convenient—just a few blocks from the trailhead and a block from the Outlaw Bar & Grill—making it a perfect, easy place to crash after a long day on the trail. The interior was cozy and tidy, updated, and stocked with fuzzy blankets, granola bars, coffee, and many other lovely touches. This was fabulous for me as I came cold, damp, and with no car or supplies! I wish I could have stayed longer to appreciate the space more. Julia made everything clear and easy with helpful communication (even when I checked in late!). Would definitely return and recommend!

Julia was very responsive and genuinely concerned that we had an excellent time. The place is exactly as advertised. There are three guitars (two acoustic and an electric bass). We did not touch the two in the wall, but the one in the bedroom was in perfect tune and so we played music and laughed. The weather was great. The furnace controls are easy and plenty of hot water. Kindly she stocked the pantry and all the needed condiments in fridge. Beds and pillows are comfortable. Perfect stay.

Our second stay with Julia. Great like our first stay. Highly recommend. We really like how quickly Julia responds when we contact her.

Beautiful house in a great location a block from The Outlaw bar. Julia was a great host.
