Very charming, authentic “River” cottage. We felt very at home. Exactly what we had expected and hoped for. Lots of space, great views, plenty of games and books. We never turned the tv on.

Great spot right on the water! Beth's stay was beautiful and peaceful. It was chilly outside but the house warm. We loved eating in the back sunroom. It's basically all windows with a perfect view of the water while still being private. Beth was super helpful and quick to respond with anything we needed. There are two kinds of Airbnb's: ones that feel like a hotel and ones that feel like a home. This one feels like a home. If you like that feel, you'll love this place. Personally, I was happy there were some items in the fridge and dry goods in the cabinet but didn't love that I couldn't use the dressers because the owners belongings were still in the drawers or that there wasn't wifi. (Note: the listing does indicate "no wifi" so it wasn't a surprise.) I probably wouldn't stay again but that's just personal preference as I prefer more of a hotel feel. It's a really great spot and if you love the way it looks in the photos, you'll love the place!

We loved our time at this sweet cottage! Such a beautiful view and warm, comfortable accommodations. We even met some of the neighbors and they were so friendly! Beth was extremely accommodating, especially as we had some last minute needs come up. We will 100% stay here again!

Our family had a wonderful time staying here. The location is private, quiet, yet still very convenient to all the town and the area offer. The view of the river is beautiful, and the nautical theme of the cottage isn't just staged knick knacks - this family clearly has a deep, lasting relationship with the coast and its ecology. We were also impressed with how well they maintain a historic home given the challenges of being right on the coast. Yes, there are little details that show the home's age or the effects of proximity to the water. If you've lived on the coast you know what I mean. You won't even care once you see the view and settle down in this lovely home. It's clean, safe, beautiful, and Beth was very kind and responsive in her communication. By the end of the first day we knew this is a place we'll want to visit again, both with and without the kids. One final note - the air conditioned sunrooms were a nice surprise!
