Tried to extend visit by one day and couldn’t due to “maximum stay length”. Tried to get it overridden by Vacasa and got told to go through AirBnB. AirBnB told me to go through Vacasa. Tried to get it situated 2 days prior and never heard anything back until check in date. Had to spend $220 on a hotel room. Floor had a layer of dust and the dishwasher wasn’t emptied. Had clean dishes in it. A couple of small spiders were spotted in the beds. Heater in bathroom was not operational. 0 condiments were available. It was though very homey and comfortable. Wish we could have gotten garage access due to keeping our Icefishing equipment secure. The cleaning fee should be added upon check out if deemed necessary. Would appreciate a refund on that. $100+ is extensive. We had to basically sweep and mop after getting settled in. Would stay again IF the communication was better.

Awesome stay with my Dad. We spent 3 days hunting public land in the area for Ruffed Grouse. This place met all of our needs and it was great that we could bring the hunting dog with. The only issue was the gas fireplace smelled the entire place up like propane pretty badly after only using it for about 5 minutes. Other than that we had a great time and I would consider coming back. Thank you,

Beautiful stay in the Northwoods. We hiked a beautiful trail only a few minutes up the road & we spent a morning in Minocqua which is only 20 minutes away. We can wait to come back again!

It is such a beautiful little cottage! If you love fishing, the lake will be your favorite place. We caught over 40 bluegill and over 10 bass. It was non stop! Right off the dock is full of seaweed. We came in the end of August so I’m not sure if it’s like this in the beginning of summer or not, but the pier next to ours was nice and clean, so my daughter was able to swim there with no problems. The lake is nice and quiet so you could swim farther out with no issues. The house was well stocked with dishes and pots and pans. They had a keurig as well which was nice. Lots of wildlife and you are secluded. Others had said they could smell the septic, but we never had that issue. It was such a cozy little getaway.
