The perfect couples hideaway, Longstones is one of six luxurious stable conversions featuring a bold and colourful style. Downstairs, you’ll find a compact, but well-equipped kitchen, cosy living space and shower room. Upstairs you’ll find a king size bedroom in the eaves on a mezzanine level accessed via a built-in wooden ladder. A vaulted ceiling and large window on the mezzanine floor help to create the sense of space. Designed with interior expert Polly Ashman, our stables feature their own individual style and are an elevated home away from home. The kitchen is equipped with everything you'd expect to find in your own home, allowing you to cook your favourite meals. The living area features a squishy sofa and TV for cosy, relaxed evenings or you can curl up and read one of our books or handy walking guide. We only use the most comfortable and luxurious bedding in our bedrooms, ensuring you have a peaceful night's sleep. On a clear night take a look through the velux windows on the mezzanine level for a spot of stargazing! Outside there is a shared landscaped courtyard complete with pergola and seating for alfresco dining.

Our stay on the farm was nothing short of amazing. The serene environment and picturesque surroundings created a perfect retreat. The cozy accommodations blended seamlessly with the rustic charm of the farm, making it a lovely getaway. A truly delightful experience! I would also highly recommend purchasing some of the farm produce! delicious!

Such lovely accommodation, had everything we needed. The stay was so cosy. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We had some lovely steaks from the farm also. Would highly recommend, we will be returning!

We had a fantastic stay in Longstones. The space is beautifully designed, has an extremely comfortable bed and is equipped with everything you need! We love the communal area with the beautifully thought out gardens. We will definitely be returning with a larger party in the future. Thanks Rob and Alice for the delicious meat too!

We had a lovely short break at The Farm at Avebury. We were in the area to visit friends and this was the perfect place to stay. Convenient to everything - lovely walks, Lacock village, Avebury, Marlborough ( we had a lovely dinner at Dan’s). So much thought was put into the stunning restoration of the stable courtyard and cottages.

Our farm is located in historic Avebury, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty complete with a neolithic stone circle and other beautiful ancient sites which are within walking distance.
The beautiful buzzing market town of Marlborough is a short drive away as well as the historic city of Bath, Bristol and Stonehenge. For those looking to explore further afield, the Cotswolds and charming village of Lacock are most definitely worth a visit.
In our welcome guide we list a number of local activities and attractions. We have lots of wonderful restaurants and pubs close by including; The Red Lion in Avebury, The Waggon & Horses in Beckhampton, The Silks on the Downs, The Marlborough and many more.

Given our rural location, a car will be useful for getting around. There is some public transport but as you can imagine this is rather limited!
The walking is superb around Avebury and within your stable you'll find our useful walking guide with QR codes for easy navigation!
