This is such a beautiful home and property. Our stay was perfect. Shona was quick to reply with questions about WiFi. Location was great for all the sightseeing we wanted to do in the Highlands. Home was spotless and cozy. Highly recommend walking the property to see the beautiful Loch in the back.

Spacious and, important for mid-winter, warm lodge in a perfect location for site-seeing in the highlands and a manageable drive to Skye. The local area is also very beautiful. The lodge is comfortable and tastefully decorated. We were also greeted with a bottle of fizz for the new year!

We had a wonderful time at Shona's place and would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. A great place to explore the Highlands and the immediate surroundings were stunning. The house is super comfortable - the shower is great, the beds and furniture were also very comfortable. Loved the fire in the front room. It was a perfect place for us to holiday and spend time together. Shona was very responsive to our calls, and easy to communicate with. Highly recommended. If ever in the area, we will certainly return

Shona was a very kind host. The Cottage was welcoming and we felt comfortable the whole time. In the main season you should book a table in advance in restaurants nearby, as we had a bit of trouble finding something to dine around. Shona gave us tips, but it was often full.

Shona and Matthew were the perfect hosts and made our trip to Scotland so much nicer. They were super attentive, responsive and friendly. We had a wonderful time and we’ll definitely return.
