Back at home base, the living room overlooks the private entertaining patio, and here you can relax on two large comfortable couch and chairs to watch the 65' HDTV. The compact kitchen, with tile counters, is fully equipped with a gas range, numerous small appliances, utensils, and service ware for any recipe to be made with ease. You can enjoy meals inside with dining for four, or dine alfresco on the adjoining rear outdoor patio with seating for two to watch the sunset each night. <b>WHAT'S NEARBY</b> Your Canyon Sands hideaway is in one of the best locations of Palm Springs. Perched near Palm Canyon Drive (the main artery between Palm Springs and La Quinta) affords quick access to groceries, shopping, dining, golfing, and Palm Springs International airport. This South Palm Springs location will be ideal for anything from a day of golfing and hiking along pristine trails to heading into downtown and experiencing the vibrant local shops that this city is known for. If you want a change of scenery, the Moorten Botanical Garden is only three-and-a-half miles away offering a great display of native plants. Not to mention, you will be close to all of the other fun desert cities in the valley and a short drive to the famous Joshua Tree National Park! <b>THINGS TO KNOW</b> -Outdoor music is prohibited. Music that is played indoors must not be heard outdoors. City ordinance states that any music that is audible from the property line is a violation. People noise during the day is permissible but must be measured and reasonable. Daytime is considered 10:00 am to 10:00 pm. -The utility deposit is $500 for 28 nights with $125 added for each additional week the guest stays. -This home is managed by Vacation Palm Springs Real Estate, Inc. No dog(s) are welcome in this home. No other animals are allowed without specific Vacasa approval. <br/>This rental is located on floor 1. <br/>Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. <br/>Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a damage waiver fee which covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. I feel terrible for the homeowner of this property. Vacasa is unbelievably unprofessional, unreliable, and inaccurate. I had a problem with ants and called around 2pm on a Friday. I waited hours to speak to someone, far past work hours when something could’ve been done. then was told no one could come to assess the problem until after the weekend. This was an unacceptable options so I was told i’d be refunded for the remainder of my stay. 20 mins later i got a call from a man. He was extremely aggressive and rude saying that the previous lady was wrong and i could not be refunded and that i was not allowing them to assess the problem. I had already taken 80% of my things out of the home. I explained with an ant problem, one visit would not fix the problem and i did not want to spend my week coordinating with an exterminator to fix it. Also, why was the problem not immediately assessed, only when I was asking for a refund? Money is more important than the quality of a customers stay? Awful.
This place is good value but it’s quite dated and needs a refresh. Never did get the garage door opener which was quite inconvenient. It would have been worse had it not been well priced. Location is good and the amenities in the complex are good.
