Location was great, moments away from the on-lake water park type recreation area and a marina you can rent watercraft from. The house itself is nestled into a fairly tightly packed neighborhood but the geography and trees provide ample privacy and the feeling of seclusion. It is also less than 20 minutes from local restaurants, shops, and attractions like the Fair Grounds, Bell Mountain, and Crane Creek Winery. The check-in and check-out process was seamless, with fairly traditional check-out procedures. The house was large, with great views, clean. The kitchen is fairly well equipped. We loved that all the bedrooms had direct access to the deck. I imagine if you have kids that this would be a great location and house with the game room downstairs. All around it was a great place to stay and more than worth the price, and we had a great time.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The home was close enough to everything we needed, while also providing privacy & decent views. The trees around the property have grown from the pics in the listing, but it was still a nice view. Our family had a lot of fun in the game room & was nice to have since it rained during our stay. When we checked in I reached out to the host bc there was hair on the sheets, when we looked more closely it looked like dog hair so I rewashed everything just in case. We also didn’t hear back from the host and with all our kids in tow it wasn’t worth escalating the issue. There were also lots of spiders in the basement, which I expected bugs, but this was more than that. My daughter had several large bites after sleeping in the room the first night, so we decided not to use it for the rest of our stay. Lastly, the towels really need to be replaced, they are very old.

Beautiful location. Driveway is a little difficult to maneuver. House was clean but had a damp smell to it. Overall enjoyed the rental.
