My family and I love this cabin so much that we have rented it twice for the holidays and we will continue to rent the same as it is the perfect place to enjoy with your family and create wonderful memories! This cabin offers everything you need for a wonderful family vacation! The views are simply breathtaking! The cabin features an amazing wood fireplace to create the perfect cozy environment! It is impeccably clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need to enjoy your stay! It is truly a gem! Do yourself a favor and book your stay! The hosts are very responsive and the automated check in system is a breeze! A++++

The cabin was amazing. The photos simply can not do the view justice. Even the kids wanted to stay. We would absolutely go back in a heartbeat.

What a fantastic cabin in the mountains. We could not have been more pleased with this one. It had absolutely everything that you needed in it. Plenty of room for the 2 adults and 6 teens. The house was fully decorated for Christmas when we rented (Jan 1.) including tree, outside lights. The cabin had absolutely everything and anything you needed. Plenty of firewood, kindling for starting the fire, long lighters, ping pong, games, tvs...everything. I would highly recommend this cabin. You will not be disappointed. The only thing I can think that might have been improved was ... we had to buy ping pong balls at the store. The ones there were broken. Ha Ha!!! Seriously, the cabin had everything to live in it.

Adventure awaits! Western NC and North GA abound with opportunities for recreation and relaxation. Set your sights on long-range views with visits to Bell Mountain in Hiawassee (20-minute drive) and Brasstown Bald (highest point in GA, 35-minute drive). Spend the day on Lake Chatuge with a boat or personal watercraft rental from a local marina or launch your own from nearby public access. Want to immerse yourself in nature in the Nantahala National Forest? Bring your mountain bikes and ride the first-class trails at Jackrabbit Mountain (also great for hiking and dog-friendly) less than 10 minutes from the property. Fires Creek Recreation Area (25-minute drive) is another Western NC local favorite for hiking with picturesque views, swimming, and trout fishing. On the GA side, take a 30-minute drive to a waterfall hike via the High Shoals Falls Trail or make the 30-minute drive to Alpine Helen, GA for a taste of Bavaria in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Hungry and thirsty after a day of exploration? Visit the outstanding local restaurants, wineries, and breweries in and around downtown Hayesville and Hiawassee for not-to-be-missed tastes of local flavor.
We love the #lakelife around here as well as the majestic mountains. So much to do and see right in town. We have a handy Welcome Book in the house full of dining options, things to do, shopping, hiking and waterfall trails. Wineries with live music events and tastings are in abundance! You can head over to Helen for tubing or zip lining or a taste of the Bavarian style town.
Hike or drive to the apex of Bell Mountain, which overlooks Lake Chatuge below and provides picturesque mountain views. Shooting Creek Overlook is breathtaking. Visit Brasstown Bald, the highest point in Georgia. Jackrabbit Mountain and Chatuge Dam. Both Towns County (Hiawassee GA) and Clay County (Hayesville NC) have super parks and beaches. trailheads of the Appalachian Trail, which spans from Georgia to Maine, are less than 10 miles from this home.
