Nice woodsy compound on a hill up a short paved drive past a gated entrance. Cabin was cozy, beds were comfortable, hot tub was clean. Not many food options in the area, so bring your own groceries if you plan to cook. Great base for a short drive up into the mountains to walk the beautiful Roan balds on the Appalachian Trail.

Hot tub worked great and rockers under the lights were a nice place to rest. Comfortable rockers on front porch gave nice area to watch the rain. The cutest outside fire pit. Was unable to use due to a storm that rolled through but was fun to look at. Downstairs bedroom did not have a bed frame as listed in the photos. Has a floor/platform bed which was uncomfortable to get into/out of for my husband due to health issues. Coffee maker did not work. Overall cabin was cute, clean, and well maintained. Nice sized bathroom. Good water pressure and temperature. A/C worked well and cabin provided ceiling fans as well. Didn't cook in the kitchen but it looked as though there was everything there you could need if you did want to prepare a meal.
