As soon as we walked in it felt like home. The yard is huge, and our dog loved it, and the Autum leaves and garden were beautiful. The house is centrally heated, with additional heaters in the bedrooms which made it easy to heat. The log fire is also beautiful with plenty of wood supplied and plenty of kindling in the yard. We were able to walk to all of the restaurants, pub shops and cafes in Berrima, and the Surveyor General allows dogs in the front bar, where you can have dinner. Only advice would be if you plan to cook, make sure you stock up in Mittagong or Bowral as there is no general store or supermarket in Berrima.

lovely quaint, beautifully decorated house. We really appreciated staying in such a charming dog friendly house. comfy bed, quiet location but easy walk to coffee, food etc. Great & historical riverside dog walk at the end of street. Older kitchen with no dishwasher or modern stove but wasnt a problem for the 2 of us. We would love to stay again.

Coming in from the rainstorm that hit the area never felt so great! The place was dry, warm and very comfortable. A great location in Berrima - easy walk to local cafes and Eschalot Restaurant (our main reason for visiting). If with a group i would certainly stay there again. A very charming and solid place. The beds were comfortable and it was so quiet inside. You could hardly tell there was a gale blowing outside. This place would be awesome to winter down in.

Philippa is a great host, she sent me clear instructions and advice about the property. It is 5 minutes walking to the shops and cafes, cooking for 4 people can be fun as it is a small kitchen but I managed to cook a seafood linguini for 4 people. It needs a new shower head as it's only a very slow flow or a narrow jet mode. Overall the home is beautifully decorated, the backyard is large and relaxing for an afternoon tea or just to sit and read. TV and internet work fine, lots of fire wood available to use, plenty of off street parking for 3 cars.
