This is a gorgeous large, comfortable home for a big group. Well-located across a small road from the lake with beach access, it is close to amenities, restaurants and activities. Wonderfully, the home was beautifully decorated for the holidays for our visit! Host was very communicative throughout our booking. She was very forgiving when unexpectedly, our son’s epileptic girlfriend arrived with her service dog. Our son goes to a nearby therapeutic boarding school. It was comforting to visit him for the holidays with this home as our home base.

Good; place is huge! Accommodated my group of 15 comfortably. Host was nice and responsive. We had issue with hot water on main floor and she sent someone to fix it right away. Was fully stocked w/cooking utensils & even coffee! Our grown men literally had a ball in the garage/game room lol. Bad: the driveway/hill is INSANELY steep and we were terrified to drive it. It was absolutely the worst thing about this house. We visited in November and downstairs was FREEZING. We couldn’t figure out how to adjust the temp and guest were miserable. Weird thing, the house was not cleaned as expected. Trash was left behind and dishes were in the kitchen sink. I informed host and she said her husband had stopped by unexpectedly for a meeting and wasn’t aware of reservation. This was unsettling as it left me feeling like the house wasn’t thoughly cleaned before my stay which is unsanitary- to say the least. Unfortunate: host offered to refund part of cleaning fee but never did. Overall good.

This home was very spacious for our large group. Quiet neighborhood with house overlooking the lake. Tons of games and things to do at the house. For anyone planning on renting a boat, keep in mind you cannot dock/board your boat from this property. We used the public dock at Neon Taco as a meeting point for our captains. Our group had a great time at Lake Manor!
