This place took the vote on where to hold our annual family vacation for a second time! We love the layout of the house. Everyone has some privacy when they want or meet up in the gathering spaces for family dinners in the large kitchen, morning coffee on the deck, or on the patio for an evening campfire. The ladies enjoyed shopping in nearby Tower and Ely, while the guys fished to their hearts content. One of the best lakefront layouts - no steep hills! And a beautiful view across the bay. Renting a pontoon from Lake Vermillion Houseboats was a welcome convenience as well. We all enjoyed the family-time while fishing on the pontoon and appreciated the ease of returning it so close to "home". THANK YOU (again) for such a great experience!

Great home, quiet and secluded location. nice East views of Lake from kitchen/living room/loft bedroom. Close by casino, golf, and dining locations. Nice dock and shoreline for entry into water. Too shallow for larger open bow I/O boats. Bedroom above kitchen w/ bath is loft style w/ open balcony to living room space below. Bedrooms above garage do not have full height walls, privacy may be a concern for some guests. Great for kids or teens. There is no AC or ventilation in these bedrooms only portable fans. Depending upon outside ambient weather these bedrooms may get uncomfortable. Bunkhouse has large twin or queen size homemade bunkbeds. It is close to main house for easy access to kitchen and bathroom. There is no AC or mechanical ventilation in the bunkhouse only portable fan. Depending upon outside Temps it could be uncomfortable for some. Driveway is winding and not conducive for boat trailers or trailer parking. Boat launch is 8mi away @ moccasin point.

What a great place to stay with lots of space and a kitchen full of supplies! The outdoor spaces are amazing for hanging out and enjoying the beautiful view. Joy is always quick to respond to any and all questions. Our family truly enjoyed this getaway and we can’t wait to be back again! Thank you both for sharing your beautiful home with our family!
