McKenzie Bridge · 整套客房 · 2室4床1.0卫 · 可住6人 · Lost Creek Guesthouse near Hot Springs, Hoodoo
Escape to the woods in this great space! Our cozy guesthouse is located next to Lost Creek, a tributary to the McKenzie River. This guesthouse is close to everything the McKenzie River area has to offer. We are located just off of the Scenic McKenzie Highway 242. 1-minute drive to Belknap Hot Springs, 12 minutes from Sahalie and Koosah Falls, 30 minutes to Hoodoo, and close to many, many great hikes. Our guesthouse is across the driveway from our house on our 4-acre property. You have your own parking area and plenty of room to enjoy the outdoors. The guesthouse has a large kitchen and eating area, full bath, and laundry room downstairs. The upstairs has a large bedroom with a queen bed and a twin bunk bed. Upstairs you'll also find a large living room/ den with a TV, VCR/DVD player, Roku, books to read, and a game table to play games at. We have recently converted a large walk-in closet into a cozy bedroom with a full-size bed.
Highly recommend this place! Super clean, looks just like the photos, and is in a great location for exploring the McKenzie River! Liz and Corey sent very helpful instructions the day before with directions and all the information for how to check in. We really appreciated all the amenities and thoughtful touches- the kitchen is fully stocked and all the local recommendations! Would definitely stay here again!
Liz and Corey were so nice and welcoming. Our dog is well behaved and friendly and made immediate friends with their dog. Although the guest house is close to their house, it felt totally private. Such a beautiful property to visit and they had a well informed guide book with lots of suggestions on hikes and nearby amenities. The bathroom heater and deep porcelain tub were amazing! Everything was super cozy, clean, and well cared for. I’m already thinking of a return trip in the summer.
Their property was big and beautiful, the guest house is much larger than we anticipated. Liz and Corey provided an amazing binder full of places to see and go do. The place was clean and comfortable, very easy check in and easy to find. Do not go to Blue Sky Market(crazy prices), go to the gas station across from Vida Cafe and get some delicious bfast at the cafe. May want to stop in Springfield at the grocery store for some food on the way to Liz’s.
We really enjoyed our stay at Liz and Corey‘s place! It was a wonderful location, conveniently close to Belknap Hot Springs. The guest house was spotless, and we particularly enjoyed how cozy and comfortable the beds were, as well as the play/lounge area with the television and several movies available. We hope to be back to visit again soon. Thank you for hosting us, Liz & Corey!!
The guesthouse is located across the driveway from our house. We have a 3 year old daughter and a puppy (Cinder) who is a Silver Lab/ Pitbull mix and is 4 months old. She is very much a large goofy puppy who is still learning the ropes. She enjoys playing fetch and is a very friendly pup who does well with kids and other dogs.
Our road is just off of Scenic Highway 242. We have a couple of neighbors on our road. Our neighborhood is very small and filled with some interesting folks.
Our neighbor across the street has a sawmill, so there are usually lots of logs and wood around his property. He also has 2 herding dogs, and a horse, Fiero.
We are located 1 minute from Belknap Hot Springs, which is a great place to soak your weary muscles after a long hike or bike ride. Also, being on Hwy 242, you are that much closer to all of the great hikes along the scenic highway. We're 10 minutes from the Blue Pool Trailhead, and 15 minutes from Koosah and Sahalie Falls.
We live pretty rural up here! Driving time is about 1 hour from Springfield, OR up Hwy 126. It's also about 1 hour from Sisters, OR over Santiam Pass.
The town of McKenzie Bridge is 5 miles from Lost Creek Hideaway, where you'll find the McKenzie Station and Pub, which has great food, and The General Store and Obsidian Grill across the street.
5 more minutes down the road, you'll get to the town of Rainbow where you'll find Blue Sky Market for groceries, fried food, gas, and Takoda's Restaurant.
Lost Creek Hideaway is near the junction of Hwy 242 and Hwy 126.

Hi, I'm Liz. My husband Corey and I live in McKenzie Bridge, OR. We enjoy all things outdoors and love traveling, and we especially love rafting and kayaking. We were AirBnBing our house when we weren't there for a few years, but now we've moved in permanently, and are hosting our guesthouse across the driveway. We recently had a baby and are enjoying time at home and in the McKenzie Valley with our little family.
