I booked a Friday night last min which was no problem with the host quick response. I went with my 6 year old daughter because we just wanted to have fun on the lake Saturday. It is a quite space and not geared towards kids. But we still had a blast with all the amenities and Ram (manager) was very helpful. I will return with friends to enjoy more of this gem I stumbled upon

This retreat is an amazing gem in a beautiful quiet remote lakeside location. 5 star luxury with furnishings and decorations that bring you back to palaces in India or Tibet. We scheduled a couples massage which was wonderful. We also enjoyed the infrared sauna, jacuzzi overlooking the lake, and a candlelit soak in the large whirlpool tub in the suite. We will have to come back and stay longer when the in-person yoga and mindfulness classes are offered again. There is a huge public area with shelves full of books on a wide range of interesting topics including meditation, yoga and philosophy. It is a very peaceful and quiet retreat - the perfect place to get away from busy everyday life and recharge.

The Quiet Mind Mountain Retreat was a nice surprise and has a GREAT view of Lake Cuyamaca. We stayed in the wonderful Royal Mandala Suite at the end of the building that was spacious, comfortable, quiet and had a large covered patio overlooking the lake. We enjoyed the jacuzzi at the front of the property overlooking the lake. We went for hikes in the area but next time would consider booking a massage. We pre-ordered dinners which were prepared by a personal chef and delivered to the room on Davita's recommendation. Would definitely stay again.
