Brissa Cottage is part of the Kamal Cottages gated community at Jharipani; which is at a slightly lower elevation than Mussorie. This makes the cottage unique because it is away from the traffic, hustle bustle of both Mussorie and Landour. The view of the Doon Valley from the cottage is outstanding. The cottage had all the amenities as mentioned in the listing. The caretaker team at the cottage consisting of Sonu, Kusum and Nishant were always available to cook a meal or breakfast. Ordering food from the Kamal Cottages community kitchen was a breeze and the food was well cooked and met the cut. A special mentioned must be made of Faizan's Taxi Service. Faizan was very pro-active and flexible for both the airport pick-up and drop and the side trips we did during our stay. The taxi service charges were reasonable. Nupur, the host, was very accessible. She shared all the information about Brissa Cottage. A great stay.

From the moment we arrived at the private cottage in Mussoorie, we were captivated by the panoramic views that seemed to embrace the entire valley. The cottage itself was a haven of tranquility, nestled amidst the lush greenery that Mussoorie is famed for. The caretaker, Sonu, was a gem. Not only did he ensure our stay was comfortable, but his culinary skills were outstanding. Each meal was a delightful experience, with dishes that tantalized our taste buds and left us eagerly anticipating the next. Our explorations of Mussoorie were made all the more enriching thanks to Faizan, the taxi driver. His knowledge of the local area was impressive. His recommendations for off-the-beaten-path sights were spot-on. And of course, none of this would have been possible without our host, Nupur. Her warmth and hospitality shone through from our first interaction. In summary, this cottage is not just a place to stay; it’s a destination in itself.

Place and view is amazing. Nupur is a great host! Detailed instructions were sent beforehand on how to reach the place, how to order food, about local amenities. Food provided on the property was great! Only thing that we had some problems on was water availability on the property during evening and morning hours. Pretty sure it will be a temporary problem and get fixed.
