Området är oerhört vackert och utanför turiststråket. Vi åt pizza på La Matta -rekommenderas. Vacker utsikt på flera ställen och enkelt att ta spårvagn 28 eller vandra ner mot Alfama. Trevlig atmosfär på gatorna, artiga människor överallt. Lägenheten känns privat och allt fungerade bra. Vi är mycket nöjda.

Everything was perfect and Ana is a very responsive and helpful host ! The apartment is situated ideal, so that you can walk to all the nice quarters of Lisbon directly. And also it is arranged supernice. I can highly recommend it !

Ana’s apartment was perfect for our little group. Walkable to restaurants and public transit. Had a great stay! Unfortunately the hammock wasn’t there when we stayed.

The place was comfortable and clean in a walkable neighborhood that’s not too far from touristy places while being outside of the tourist center. There was street parking outside that was always easy to find. Parking is free on evenings and weekends and not that expensive during the day. The only caveat is you can only pay for parking for 4 hours at a time. So if you plan to be out a day without the car, it’s quite inconvenient. There is an app that might solve this problem but doesn’t work for an American phone number. Staying at Airbnb has become more like staying at a hotel now trading bigger space for services and lost many of the charms from having a local host. We still enjoyed staying here, and for a bigger family it would have been hard to find a better hotel choice without paying significantly more.
