Amazing property! Spent a week here with my mom and sister. Could not have been more perfect! We rented a car and went out for dinner nightly but spent our days relaxing in wonderful, low key Long Boat Key! Heavenly! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

First of all, the pictures do not do this rental justice! It was a super clean, well-appointed, and comfortable unit in a wonderful location right on a quiet stretch of beach. Given this is a quieter area with less businesses (something we welcomed for this getaway!), we made good use of the outdoor grills and well-equipped kitchen for most of our meals (pans, pots, bowls, knives, cutting boards, plates, utensils, baking sheets, grilling utensils, and more were all provided). There is a keurig or pour over or you’ll need a few Mellitta #2 cone filters for the pour over if you are coffee snobs like us ;) The drip coffee machine looked to have been recently broken, so we made use of the pour over. A few games were stowed in the cabinets, TVs worked well, comfy living room couch and beds with plenty of pillows, beach chairs and towels, and all bath towels and bed linens supplied, which is all great especially when flying and limited on items you can pack. Dish soap and paper towels for the kitchen and bar soap and toilet paper for the bathrooms were provided, but no cooking oil or salt and pepper in the kitchen, and no little shampoos/conditioners in the bathrooms. Publix is 1.5 miles away and we got instacart to deliver groceries in short order, so that was easy enough. We rented bikes from the Ace hardware less than a mile away ($35/week or $8/day, I think), which allowed us to bike along the trail to local places like Turtle coffee (.7 miles, right out of La Playa) and a small pizza joint (<1 mile, left out of La Playa) as well as bike a longer distance along the path on Gulf of Mexico Dr to AMI for mini golf and dinner one night (6 flat, easy miles, about 30 minutes depending on how quickly you bike). We wished we’d had a few more days to spend in the comfy hammocks out back and taking the property’s two kayaks out— next time! Would definitely love to stay again and would recommend!

No A/C! The A/C went out and when we called the after hours number the lady tried to tell me that because it was only 76 degrees in the condo, I was mistaken and it clearly was working even though the A/C unit wasn’t working. She wouldn’t send anyone out until the next day. I was told it was “fixed” but as soon as we returned later in the day, it stopped working within 30 minutes. We called again and the lady didn’t believe us! After I insisted it was not working, they sent someone back and low and behold…it was broken! It kept blowing fuses and they didn’t know why. I don’t pay $500/night (after fees) for no A/C in Florida and to be doubted by the management company. They offered zero accommodations due to the lack of A/C. Try getting ready for a wedding at 3pm in sweltering heat sweating to death not to mention using cold wash cloths to try to sleep. Very disappointing.
