Our Slidell stay was absolutely amazing. We came to Louisiana for New Orleans but didn't want to live in the city so we found this unique AirBNB about 30 minutes outside of N.O. It was perfect. The house is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood with a beautiful centerpiece lake. The scenic drive in the neighborhood really acclimated us to Louisiana living. The house even comes with a canoe which we used several times to explore the bayou waters. Slidell combines modern living with a relaxed traditional feel. Old Towne Slidell has plenty of shops, restaurants and festivals. The cuisine in Slidell was amazing. A 5 minute drive to gumbo, jambalaya, crawfish, daqueries and probably lots more we didn't get to. We stayed a month but there was so much to do. Our hosts, Freddie and Sean were the best. They arranged airport pick up and connected us with all the activities in Slidell. Their hospitality and support really made this vacation a winner and checked our "repeat visit" box! Thanks!

Great hosts, great place! We really enjoyed our time at this beautiful house. It has so many cool areas where you can take it easy, whether inside or outside on one of the many decks. We did some fishing, enjoyed the local restaurants, and explored the area. Would definitely stay here again!

The hosts go above and beyond the average bnb hospitality. They keep great communication and if given a heads-up they will show up and help bring luggage to and from the home using their elevator lift. The views, fishing, and wildlife are amazing too. This home has everything you could need for cooking, 2 fishing poles, tackle, bait, and more. They've thought of everything, even had a bottle of wine chilled for us on the counter at check in.we would absolutely love to stay here again if we come back this way. The only negative is, we didn't book long enough time. Stairs are steep, but worth the climb for this amazing home on the bayou.

A sweet sanctuary! It’s perfect for a group of friends, or a large family to spend time together but still have room to be comfortable. It’s a quiet neighborhood. The hot tub was the big seller for us and it didn’t disappoint! Sean was wonderful, and very accommodating! She takes great care of her guests, and curated a wonderful space to relax, play games, or get some work done.
