Had a lovely Easter weekend at The Chapel - it’s a great spot to use as a base to explore Anglesey. Very clean, lovely bedrooms and bathrooms and the open plan lounge and kitchen makes for social cooking and conversation in the evenings. The pub next door, alas, looks to be permanently closed now but there are supermarkets a short (20 minute) drive away for supplies. Recommended.

I've self catered in the UK and Europe for years in both budget and high-end villas and chalets. Never, ever have I been given instructions to strip the beds and put away used towels before. I think (personally) it's a bit mean charging top end prices but then treating clients as if they were in budget accommodation. I also wondered why there were no bins for recycling? We couldn't find any instructions about that (and they were good on instructions) so can only assume that we weren't required to do so - as a result we just threw everything in one bin! On the plus the accommodation itself was amazing and the care and detail which has gone into the conversion was evident throughout and done to a very high standard. |The kitchen was very well equipped and the layout was tremendous. We only stayed two nights as we were going to a wedding nearby but I could imagine that there are lots of lovely walks and places of interest in the area without needing your car.

Striking accommadation but don't expect local facilities - and the pub has closed down. However, great area for walking and exploring.
