Unfortunately our stay at Rachel's property ended poorly & required additional effort. We booked for a month. Upon arrival we were greeted with an odor, understanding that this is a pet friendly Airbnb, but it was STRONG. There is a guest who stayed before us who referenced a stinky wet rug that was moved to the sunroom, I can confirm that this stinky rug is still in that sunroom and impacting the entire unit. I did notice the property owner responded to that person's review, in a somewhat negative manner, which worried me. The bathrm toilets had mold around the rim & the kitchen supplies were filthy, there were only 4 forks. We brought our own dishes (thankfully) & went to the dollar store for the rest of our supplies. The property owner attempted to charge us $250 for pet poo; thankfully we found foreign poo during our stay and took a photo of it. She then admitted that there were homeless cats that roamed and was probably the cat, removed the charge. Smells FISHY. Do not recommend.

This was a great place for our family to stay. The back yard was a huge hit with the dog area and people area being separated. It felt like a mini vacation hanging out back there. Though it wasn’t a beach house nor a downtown Wilmington house - it still have a much enjoyed different and refreshing experience in the area.

If you’re looking to experience all of what Wilmington has to offer I highly recommend Rachel’s property! It’s a short drive or ride share to downtown, Wrightsville Beach, or Carolina Beach. There are tons of great options for dining no matter what you’re in the mood for!
