Samantha and her husband are great hosts. She responded promptly to my texts/calls and was kind enough to accommodate a late check in. Check in was fairly easy and the location is beautiful and easy to find. She gave local recommendations and even provided beach chairs, beach towels, snorkeling gear etc. I felt safe and welcomed. I wish I could give her 5 stars but the bathroom was dirty, no basics in the bathroom (the body wash and shampoo were just empty bottles), the room was unfurnished with just a bed and the house is very noisy. The house is on a freeway so there was plenty noise of the vehicles as such. I could hear the guests in my adjacent room talking until late in the night and then would be woken up early with the noise in the house. For some reason, when someone walks down the stairs I would feel my bed move. I was so alarmed the first time that I went running down fearing it was an earthquake but then she told me it was a faulty structure of the house.

Did not know what to expect when staying with a family and sharing a bath with other guests. Everyone was thoughtful and considerate though. Family was very friendly and made us feel welcome. We came and went as we needed to which they gave us the freedoms to do. Was nice to be around younger family members-they gave us many occasions to smile! Room was great value for the money. Would return for a visit any time.
