I loved staying at this place and felt very comfortable. Marilyn was responsive most of the time and very helpful. It would have been great to have some information about how to use the buses, how to get food, and so on as these things are not obvious at all. The house needs updating and hopefully the neighbor will stop the very loud religious programming once Easter is past. I would definitely stay here again because the location is terrific, the bed is comfortable, the apartment is spacious with a well stocked kitchen and I love Soufriere. Having an air conditioner is a rare and a big plus. Thank you Marilyn.

points positifs : - emplacement dans le bourg, pas loin de la mer et des petits commerces, - gerant, Philbert, tres reactif et efficace - maison grande, - bonne literie. points nefatifs : - hote (marilyn) peu reactive, peu agreable (message) et lente a repondre, - pas de rideaux occultants aux chambres et lumiere dans la rue toute la nuit, - logement vieilissant et qui meriteraient un petit coup de neuf, - clim des chambres qui ne sont pas opérationnelles, alors que cest la quil y en a le plus besoin. - pas de produits de base, nous avons du racheter : sel,, sucre, eponges (celles presentes etaient tres usagees et sales), papier toilettes (1 demi disponible a notre arrivee)... - pour les personnes aimant le calme ou souhaitant faire une grasse matinee : à partir de 7 h du matin le peu de voitures qui passent dans la rue klaxonnent, coq qui chantent une partie de la nuit, et le week musiq ue au bar d'en face jusqu'à 21h30.

I was here for 3 weeks and Marilyn's Airbnb was in the perfect location for both diving and exploring the island, in a very secure location with multiple spaces to park a car. She was extremely responsive when I needed more propane and a drain cleaned and there was more than enough space in the apartment for all of my diving gear! The Amazon Alexa was a great touch as well!

Good place to stay in Soufriere. The house has everything you need. kitchen had all appliances, pots, pans, blender, etc. Comfortable couch, nice porch chairs, etc. wifi is good, A/C is good. It's great. Key things to know about Soufriere (as of fall 2023) Bus to Roseau is 4.5ec/person each way. To get back you go to the stop in Roseau, get in, and when the vans fill up it leaves. No real schedule but it works great. Short walk from the bus to restaurants and grocery stores. There is a bar directly across the street and they also sell a few dry goods and eggs. Owner is super nice. Power is not reliable the utility does not give accurate info. Locals all said it was very unusual and I believe that, but it is something you need to be aware of and plan accordingly. This may be resolved in the future but in aug-sep 2023, hours long blackouts occurred almost daily. Often taking down cell data too.

Super séjour à Soufriere, le logement est très bien situé, sur les pentes de la ville, vue sur mer depuis le petit porche, on peut descendre à Bubble beach et la Baie à pieds. A proximité donc des clubs de plongée, sur le trajet du bus pour Scotts Head, sur la fin de la première section du Waitukubuli Il est super bien aménagé, il y a tout, cuisine fonctionnelle avec tous ustensiles, chambres avec moustiquaires et climatisation, grand frigo... Nous reviendrons avec plaisir chez Marilyn si nous repassons dans le coin!
