I know I just left a review of the beautiful gem of a house but I want to just reiterate how amazing it is and how awesome the hosts are. So much so, I decided to extend my stay. Please check my last review for more details. I highly recommend staying here, it is a fabulous place for families with children, couples and single people.

My two younger children and I were looking for a place to stay in the community in Mexico. We had no connections here or point of reference, so in looking on air bnb, I ended up going with my gut instinct and chose this place. I am beyond happy I did because it has been a phenomenal experience! So much so that we extended our stay by about a week. This house had everything we needed - a fully functioning kitchen to cook meals (we stayed for over a month), a washer and dryer, wifi, access to hot water when / if you want to use it (we rarely used it, the cooler showers were nice after hot days), air conditioning in each main room, a beautiful swimming pool that is rarely ever busy, and a gated community with 24 hour security guards and cameras that made us always feel very safe. The grounds are beautifully maintained with a pool as was mentioned, a small park for the children, with another park, a dog park, outdoor exercise area and corner store (OXXO) within a short walking distance from the house. I rented a car and there was a parking spot right in front of the house assigned to the unit. Although I rented a car, there were taxis that could have been called with ease to get around. There is a mini mall and a grocery store (chedraui) just under 10 minutes by car from the house. There is a money exchange store outside of the mall and bank machines inside of Chedraui that will exchange your currency, inclusive of Scotiabank. Also for people with kids, there is a cute play centre in the mall, as well as, nail salons for those needing a manicure / pedicure. Quinta Avenida (5th avenue) is about 15 minutes or so drive from the house, Tulum and Cancun are roughly about an hour’s drive give or take. Josué is the person whom I was in communication with about the stay via WhatsApp. From the very beginning of booking until the stay was over, he was fast to respond. He speaks Spanish and English, which was great. If any questions came up he was there to answer them or to help find the answers. He has a warm, welcoming and supportive disposition. The neighbours were nice and the house was located in a very kid friendly area. My children enjoyed playing with the children who live here in the evenings with zero worries about safety. Overall, I highly recommend choosing this place for your stay in Quintana Roo, it is definitely an amazing find. I will be booking again the next time I return to Mexico!! Thank-you Josué!!
