We had a lovely few days in this apartment. It was in a great location above the Saleya market with lots of bars and restaurants nearby and just five minutes walk to the seafront. We hadn’t realised Rita would be waiting inside the apartment but soon worked it out and were met with a lovely warm welcome from Rita, who showed us around the flat and how to use all the amenities. It’s very well equipped, lovely and light with a spacious kitchen/ dining room and living area. The shower is great and the bed comfortable. The sea views are great and it’s interesting watching the market and people below. Rita was happy to liaise if there was anything we needed to know and Vianney was in touch to check everything was ok. It can be a little noisy at night but the windows block it out well and the bedroom at the back is quieter. It is mentioned in the description but there are a lot of stairs to climb, which could be a problem for some people. But there are those lovely views! Super flat!

This is an amazing airbnb in the heart of old Nice! We were amazed by the views and the amount of shops and restaurants right outside our door. It was such a close walk to the beach and we enjoyed the market right downstairs. The apartment was very large, clean and had everything we needed. We didn’t want to leave! Would highly recommend staying here if you’re traveling to Nice :)

Yes, as others have written, it can get a little noisy on a weekend night even with the windows closed. My sensitivity to noise is probably greater than most and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. I am reluctant to write this as I plan to come back again and don't want my spot to be taken! Bravo Vianney and Rita.

This apartment was exactly as described online and in the photos. The location is wonderful. It was fun to explore Nice from this location. The market, restaurants, the promenade, the Port, Castle Hill are all within minutes of the apartment. Note: the apartment is 5 flights up so don't book if that would be a problem for you. Also, we stayed there during the low season (winter), so the noise from the bars and restaurants below wasn't too bad. But I could see how during high season, it could be very noisy. The owner, Vianney, and his friend Rita, were both very helpful with the arrangements.
